Life on the mountain is great. Its summer which means our solar panels are kicking out loads of electricity=endless studio time!!!! We live off grid at 1000meters in the Sierra Nevada mountains, southern Spain. Myself, my partner and our daughter live on a farm full of olives and almonds and the usual med fruits, figs and grapes. I have a studio which consists of a digital piano, guitar, loads of drums, and a laptop and mbox2 running pro tools and other programs. Oh yeah, and a good condenser mic. All of that runs off an inverter hooked to large batteries, which in turn are hooked up to solar panels and a windmill. I am starting to get very busy recording other local artists, which is a huge learning curve and a great new line of work. I would like to spread the word that the place to record your eco-albums is right here in the Alpujarra...all the recording mixing and mastering can be done with the sun's power, pretty cool.
On another note, I love writing tunes, composing and creating. I have been releasing a full length cd each year now for four years....each one getting a little better in sound quality and arrangement. I have various sites to listen, this being the newest.
