Well this track was completed a few weeks back and was put on the back shelf for the possible inclusion in an up and coming project within ‘The Circle’ – so time stands still for this piece for now and that’s also why its title hasn’t been set in stone just yet, although I have now amended the title to 'Awakenings' from 08-04-07

As it was conceived I had always thought it would be called ‘Awakenings’, or ‘Spiritual Awakenings’ and this was to represent both my own awakening in how my spirituality grows each day; forms new thoughts and philosophies and finds reason, amongst all this turmoil, for the many strange coincidences that happen in each of our days.

On the other hand the song is my first in some brand new software I’ve been using and as such, is a whole new ball game to me, and consequently I saw me as needing to awaken new learning’s and the new thoughts, feelings and ideas that culminate from that ‘New’ knowledge.

So for now ‘Awakenings’ is this pieces title, but who knows what exactly is round the corner; she may stay this way and not get used in that project, or…she may transform from what she is now, to something just a little bit different from this, because even though the title may not be set in stone, my heart will always remember the new door I stepped through, the very day I began this track.

Here’s hoping she will ‘Awaken’ something in you too.
