THIS IS THE FINAL INCARNATION OF A SONG MANY OF YOU KNOW AS "BLOOD IN THE DESERT"

I was never happy with the drum sound on the acoustic version of Blood, so when the opportunity to re-record the song from scratch arose I thought that I would "tighten up" things in general. This led to an almost 're-write' of the piece, it says more of the things that I want to say now.[The origanal is nearly 3 years old]

The song title is also changed to "LAY DOWN YOUR GUNS"

It features Donovan Gall on drums and Ernie Van Veen on acoustic guitar with Kieth Jollief on the Bass and David Pendragon [me, lol] on vocal.The origanal was written by David Pendragon and Ben Mansfield. 

The other two versions of the piece "BLOOD IN THE DESERT" remain as songs in thier own right, so if you want to follow the evolution of the track you can hear the origanal 'ACOUSTIC' version and also the version with 'The Writedude' on elecectric guit [great !]
